Yes, the Bombay Company will rise again. Otto International announced the rebirth of a one of my favorite traditional home furnishings retailers. Their revamped version of the Bombay Company will include three distinct sub-brands with distinct target markets. All three divisions will offer a furniture, home accents, bed and bath, outdoor living, tabletop products, gifts and holiday, and will and will be sold at departments stores, specialty gift store, and discount chains..
The Bombay name is still one of the most recognizable names in home furnishings. Demand continues to be high for Bombay products because of the unique and unexpected twists incorporated into classic pieces.

Founded in 1978 as a niche specialty home goods retail concept, the Bombay Company grew to approximately 350 retail stores. Despite closing all of its retail store in 2008, the brand continues to score at the top of national consumer surveys as one of the most recognized home decor names in the U.S.
